The Avant-Garden Shop is a brick & mortar and online retail shop providing quality garden accessories, backyard birding supplies and outdoor décor. The website was completely redesigned and rebuilt using the WordPress content management system and WooCommerce ecommerce integration for WordPress. The site features a large product catalog, product search & online ordering system, language translation, a blog, YouTube channel, and a virtual tour of the Peterborough retail store. The new site is accessible and mobile-friendly – and can be managed and edited independently using the WordPress dashboard.

Inner City Books is the only publishing house in the world devoted exclusively to books written by Jungian analysts featuring authoritative works on basic Jungian principles, women’s studies, spirituality, alchemy, relationships, dream and fairy tale interpretation, masculine psychology, midlife issues and much more. The Inner City Books website was designed and constructed using WordPress and WooCommerce, allowing for independent content & inventory management and online order processing.

The Kawartha Potters’ Guild is an active, creative and enthusiastic community of potters located in Peterborough, Ontario.  The guild operates a Studio and Gallery and offers regular classes and workshops.  The new website was rebuilt using the WordPress CMS in conjunction with WooCommerce to facilitate online registration for memberships, classes workshops.

Recreational Barrel Works supplies waterproof and animal resistant storage barrels, barrel harnesses and parts to canoe trippers, hikers, camps, schools, outfitters and retailers.  The Recreational Barrel Works site was designed and constructed using the WordPress CMS in conjunction with WooCommerce, which enables online sales, automated shipping and tax calculations.  Additionally the site features automatic IP-based currency conversion, and a product slider.  And because the Recreational Barrel Works site was built using WordPress, it can be managed independently with occasional support from Black Cap Design.

Intricate Greetings is a 3D paper pop-up greeting card company based in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.  The website was designed and built using the WordPress content management system with WooCommerce integration to enable online ordering.  The site is managed independently by Intricate Greetings via the user-friendly WordPress administrative dashboard with as-needed support from Black Cap Design.  The site features a CAD/USD currency switcher which identifies the country location of each visitor’s IP address and adjusts the product currency accordingly.

International Women’s Day – Peterborough is the contribution of a dedicated group of volunteers from the Women’s Business Network of Peterborough, promoting and hosting an International Women’s Day Conference to be held on March 8, 2017. This is a mobile-friendly design built using the WordPress CMS.  The build also includes an e-commerce ticket ordering system with PayPal and newsletter integration, a secure contact form, and a nifty event countdown widget.

Gardens Plus is a greenhouse and garden centre located in Peterborough, Ontario specializing in hostas and daylilies and perennials. In addition to showcasing and selling plants from the greenhouse and garden centre, plants can be ordered online from the Gardens Plus website.  The website was fully redesigned and rebuilt using the WordPress CMS in 2015, and is managed independently by Gardens Plus with support from Black Cap Design. The Gardens Plus site boasts a number of engaging features including a shopping cart, a media slider, an editable Google Maps widget, and a customer comment widget.
