Minnesota State Capital, Saint Paul, Minnesota (1905)
The Minnesota State Capitol is the seat of government for the U.S. state of Minnesota in its capital city of Saint Paul. It houses the Minnesota Senate, the Minnesota House of Representatives, the office of the Attorney General and the office of the Governor.
Woodwork is extensive throughout the Minnesota State Capitol but over the years it had lost its luster. John Tiedemann Inc. was thereby commissioned to painstakingly remove the deteriorated architectural woodwork throughout the building, which was then restored and reinstalled. This project took more than one year to complete and was entirely successful.
